Test de Connaissance du Français
Assess your level with the French language test (TCF)

Created by France Education International, the TCF is a test of linguistic level in French as a general language intended for all non-French speaking people who wish to have their knowledge of French assessed and validated in a reliable and recognized way. All candidates receive a certificate of results that places them on one of the six levels (from A1 to C2) of the scale of competence defined by the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). It is therefore not possible to fail the TCF. The certificate of results issued is valid for two years.
The TCF is available in four versions:
TCF Tout Public (TCF TP)
TCF Quebec
TCF Canada
TCF Integration, Residence and Nationality (TCF IRN)
