Paper Poetry Workshop – Creating Handmade Recycled Paper 🎨
Immerse yourself in the creative world of handmade paper-making during this 2-hour workshop with Marine Astic Ruoff, a French artist and designer, where you will learn to create your own sheets of paper from coloured recycled paper pulp.
This workshop, based on a method developed by the artist and inspired by Laotian and European craft techniques, guides you step by step through the art of shaping unique sheets of paper.
Workshop programme: The workshop is divided into two parts:
- Learning the basics: Participants make plain sheets of paper to master the key stages of the process.
- Creative experimentation: Participants explore combinations of coloured pulp to create patterns, marbling or unique effects, giving free rein to their imagination.
In a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, each participant will leave with around ten sheets of handmade paper in various sizes, the fruit of their creativity.
Weather permitting, the workshop will take place in the Alliance Française garden.
