Join us to celebrate the International Make Music Day – Fête de la Musique on June 19! Established in 1982 by former French Minister of Culture Jack Lang, the Fête de la Musique is an annual music celebration where musicians, amateurs, and professionals are invited to play in public spaces. Today, the Fête de la Musique is celebrated in more than 120 countries.
The Alliance Française Rotterdam is organizing an open stage for amateur musicians as part of the upcoming Fête de la Musique. Whether you’re playing solo or in a group, all musical styles are welcome!
Are you interested in performing?
Registration is free and open to all. We provide a backline, 2 mics, 2 mic stands and a mixing deck. Please bring your own instruments.
Performers get 15 minutes of stage. We plan a 5-minute break between each performance to let you setting up, tuning…
To register, please email culture@alliancerotterdam.nl with a short presentation of your performance and a video if you wish. Registration is open until May 25. At the end of the selections, 6 artists/groups will be chosen, and the successful candidates will be notified on May 26, 2025.
