The Alliance Française de Rotterdam is thrilled to present the exciting adventures of Jak and Bil! Jak et Bil is a comic strip duo imagined by Jacques Ortet, globe-trotter and passionate adventurer. After traveling through Kazakhstan, Gabon, Scotland and Oman, our two heroes now land in the Netherlands. A mysterious new adventure awaits them at the De Nachtegaal mill!
Jacques Ortet’s stories are bursting with action, humor, fantasy and sometimes even magic… Aimed at young and old alike, they deal lightly and sensitively with contemporary themes: ecology, biodiversity, energy and the energy transition.
On the occasion of this exhibition, come and discover a large collection of illustrations from the latest adventure: Jak et Bil in the Netherlands – The Intrigue of De Nachtegaal Windmill.
