The TEF test is developed and administered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP). The TEF is an international acknowledged test for French non-native speakers. The validity of this test is one year. The certificate can be useful while looking for a job, a study in France or in case of immigration in a French speaking country.

TEFAQ – FRench Evaluation Test Adapted for QUÉBEC

The TEFAQ is a version of the TEF, revisited by the Ministry of immigration and cultural communities (MICC) of Québec, to request immigration officially. Obtained TEFAQ results are valid for one year.

The Canadian TEF concerns persons who are going to immigrate to  Federal Canada or Quebec, in order to access the Canadian citizenship.

The Canadian TEF will give a valid certificate over two years to the candidate.
