Alliance Française Rotterdam

Alliance Française offers French courses on all levels and all our courses are given by experienced French teachers (‘native speakers’). The language used in the classes is French and our classes are available for an international public. Since our courses are organised according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages it is important to know your level before you start a course. You can make a (free) leveltest during our Open door days.

Register for our French courses?

If you are a real beginner (level A1.1) or if you already know your level you can register by filling in our online inscription form. Do you not know your starting level yet, please come to our open door days. There is no need to make an appointment to do the leveltest. After the test you can register right away. Have a look at our conditions for inscription.

Our classes consist of a minimum of eight and a maximum of fourteen participants.

The leveltest includes a grammartest with multiple choice questions and a conversation (in French) with one of our teachers.

Our courses of general French are concluded by way of a final assessment (except for the course level C). A sufficient result is awarded by a certificate issued by Alliance Française Rotterdam indicating your attained level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Foreign Languages.
