Alliance Française Rotterdam

The DELF and DALF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates. There are six independent diplomas which can be obtained in one or more countries. The diplomas are valid for an indifinite period of time. Candidates might sit for one diploma or more during the same examinations session. As from the 1 January 2017, the Alliance Française Rotterdam became an official examination centre for the DELF and DALF exams.

The six diplomas correspond to the six levels of the Council of Europe’ s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

For each level, the following skills are evaluated: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Below you will find the different levels of the DELF and DALF exams. If you click on the level, a mock exam appears. For an overview of the audio fragments, please click here.
