DESCRIPTION:Fancy trying out yoga or continuing to improve your technique? Join our yoga classes in French! \nThe sessions take place on Thursdays from 5 pm to 6 pm\, on the ground floor of the Alliance Française Rotterdam. Maureen Claverie\, a yoga teacher\, will be leading these Yin yoga sessions. Just come along with the idea of taking some time for yourself\, moving your body and breathing deeply through the practice of yoga. \nWorkshop 2: Grounding and Stability\nAssociated element: EarthSeason: Indian summerOrgans: Stomach\, spleen and pancreas \nEarth represents the centre\, grounding and stability. Through slow\, mindful movements\, we will explore the sensation of regaining our balance and creating a stable and nurturing inner space. \nPractical information: \nNo previous yoga experience is required: everyone is welcome\, whether you’re a beginner or already practise yoga regularly. Each workshop will be tailored so that everyone can progress at their own pace\, in a supportive environment where performance isn’t the focus. \nFor the workshop\, please remember to bring your yoga mat and comfortable clothing. A yoga block may also be useful to support your practice. A bolster or cushion is recommended for certain exercises\, but is optional. \nIt is not necessary to speak French to attend the workshops. Rejoignez nos cours de yoga en français ! \nLes ateliers ont lieu le jeudi de 17h à 18h\, au rez-de-chaussée de l’Alliance Française Rotterdam. Maureen Claverie\, professeure de yoga\, animera ces ateliers de Yin yoga. Venez simplement avec l’envie de prendre un moment pour vous\, de bouger\, de respirer à travers la pratique du yoga. \n\nInformations pratiques :\nAucune expérience préalable en yoga n’est nécessaire : tout le monde est le ou la bienvenue\, que vous soyez débutant(e) ou que vous pratiquiez déjà le yoga régulièrement. Chaque atelier sera adapté afin que chacun puisse évoluer à son propre rythme\, dans une approche bienveillante et sans recherche de performance. \nPour l’atelier\, pensez à apporter votre tapis de yoga et une tenue confortable. Un bloc de yoga peut également être utile pour accompagner votre pratique. Un bolster ou un coussin est recommandé pour certains exercices\, mais reste facultatif. \nIl n’est pas obligatoire de parler français pour assister aux ateliers.
